Terracotta Tiles have a slight difference in dimensions across a box of tiles. This is due to the clay reacting differently depending on where it was fired in the kiln. At the top of the kiln more heat is applied. At the bottom slightly less.
Tiles have been made this way for centuries.

We are open from 0800 Monday to Friday and can be available by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays.
